About Us
I’ve always believed that books have the power to change lives. They’ve certainly changed mine. Growing up, books were my sanctuary. They were my window to worlds beyond my own, my comfort on lonely days, and my guide when I felt lost. I hope that the stories I share through Pishukin Press can be that for someone else—a light in the dark, a friend when you need one most, and a reminder that you are never alone in your experiences.
As a teacher, I’ve seen firsthand the struggles young people face when reading feels inaccessible to them. I’ve worked with students who wanted to connect with stories but were held back by barriers—whether it was a lack of confidence, resources, or formats that suited their needs. These experiences have shaped my vision for Pishukin Press and my commitment to making stories accessible to everyone.
This is why I publish in various formats—from print to eBooks to audiobooks. I want every reader, no matter their ability or preference, to have the opportunity to experience the joy of a good story. Accessibility isn’t just an option for Pishukin Press; it’s a cornerstone of everything I do. I believe that everyone deserves to find themselves in a book, to feel the magic of turning a page, or hearing a voice bring words to life.
This journey isn’t just mine; it’s ours.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Every time you pick up one of our books, you’re not just reading a story—you’re becoming part of one. Welcome to Pishukin Press.

Pishukin Press
The name Pishukin came from a term of endearment that I call my daughter. The logo is a homage to her mother who loved peacocks and was created by designer Cuba DeSilva.
The future
It is my hope to develop my small press and open for submissions, or to provide publishing services to those who wish to enter the independent small press movement. Currently I provide mentoring through Business Advice Meetings.
