Amra Pajalic was in conversation with Paddy O'Reilly at the Chestnut Tree Bookshop. Here is what she had to say:
"Had such a blast night in conversation with Paddy O'Reilly about her beautiful novel Other Houses at The Chestnut Tree Bookshop. It was such a lovely bookish night to talk about the themes of class, women in class, the voyeurism we feel in being in other people's houses. Thank you Paddy for inviting me and Chestnut Tree Bookshop for hosting such a lovely event. It was my first table discussion and it felt so lovely and inclusive. It has been so long since I have been out that it was such a pleasure to be in the world. Thank you Jodi Wiley for coming and taking photos for me. And thank you Affirm Press for your support and producing such a beautiful hardcover of Paddy's book. It is so tactile and such a lovely artefact.' Amra Pajalic was featured on the In Their Own Write blog about her writing process. Off the page with Amra Pajalic. Read it here.
